Bigamy – Bigamy means having more than one wife, or more than one husband, living at the same time. Bigamy is a crime in most states. However, people sometimes commit bigamy without knowing it, by marrying someone before their divorce is actually finalized. In those sorts of cases, the second (bigamous) marriage is void, and can then be annulled.
